Plastic targets for marking prohibited zones (demarcation targets). The dots can be used for easier orientation of the dog in the defined area by an invisible d-fence. The demarcation targets allow to mark the area in which the dog can move freely and the boundaries that it must not cross (especially if the wire is routed through a place where the boundary is not defined in a natural way such as a hedge etc.).
The targets are placed on the inner edge of the warning zone of the invisible fence, which is set by the generator. In this way, the dog and the owner can see where the restricted area already is.
The dog needs to be taught to respect the boundaries: the first time you use it, take the dog on the leash and walk the boundaries with it, when crossing the boundary of the warning zone (warning sound pulse), warn the dog that it is doing something forbidden, e.g. by commanding it not to. Once the dog is in the correction zone and therefore receives the stimulus pulse, give the command yuck/you must not and jerk the lead back so that the dog realises that it must not continue beyond the boundary. In this way, you will teach the dog what the warning and stimulus impulse mean and you can release him freely into the confined area. Once the dog has learned to respect the boundaries, the targets can be gradually removed.
