Functions and features of DOG GPS X30

Range up to 20 km

All Dogtrace GPS locator collars allow tracking dogs up to 20 km away. To ensure the highest possible range, we use the latest LoRa (Long Range) radio signal modulation technology.

Up to 13 devices

The DOG GPS X30 series tracking device allows tracking of up to 13 devices from a single receiver. The thirteen positions can be used to freely store transmitters (dog collars), receivers of other handlers (handheld devices) and also so-called waypoints, which are your stored positions.

App conection

All the DOG GPS X30 models can be wirelessly connected to an Android or iOS smartphone. Get the most out of all available features and their detailed settings.

WAYPOINT

A function that allows you to save the GPS coordinates of the location where the receiver (handheld device) is currently located. You can navigate to the saved point later. Storage of current positions and important places.

BEEPER - run/point

A function specially designed for hunting that can detect whether the dog is standing or moving. The setting of this function is determined by the type of hunt – bird hunting or wild boar hunting. 7 modes with different indications (vibration, sound, flashing) can be selected.

FENCE - circle

It serves as an acoustic boundary that alerts you when a dog exceeds a distance you specify. The perimeter around the receiver (handheld device) can be adjusted within a radius of 30 m to 2 km. If the dog exceeds the set limit, the receiver will emit an intermittent beep.

Sound locator

A strong acoustic signal (beeper) emanating from built-in loudspeaker is used to locate a dog in difficult terrains, such as thicket or dense forest. The acoustic signal may be set at four volume levels and can be heard at a distance of up to 300 m.

Compass

A simple yet very important function that determines the direction to the north. On the top of the large backlit LCD display, you can find the N symbol which indicates the direction of the magnetic north. If two arrows are lit at the same time, the direction to the north is between them.

Acoustic signal

It enables to activate tone in the receiver the intensity of which the dog always perceives the same regardless of the distance from the dog handler. It is a very effective warning before sending a pacing command. Acoustic signal is a basic feature in all products.

Stimulation Impulse

It enables the activation of alerts in the receiver at several levels in the form of safe stimulation impulses which the dog perceives as an uncomfortable feeling on the neck. The impulses are transmitted by two contact points located on the receiver. It has an option to select short or long impulse. DOG GPS X30T and X30TB models only.

Light

It is used to easily locate the dog in the dark. It enables to trigger in several modes of light signaling by means of powerful LEDs fitted into the receiver’s transparent box. DOG GPS X30T and X30B models only.

Rechargeable

Both the receiver and the transmitter have a rechargeable battery with a very long life built in – more than 40 hours of operation. Charging the receiver and transmitter at the same time is provided by a dual power adapter with USB cables and clips that are identical for all DOG GPS models.

100% waterproof

All DOG GPS models are highly durable and perfectly waterproof. Thanks to that you do not have to worry if your receiver (handheld device) or transmitter (collar on the dog´s neck) falls into the water.

Online/offline maps

The map bases in Dogtrace GPS app can be used both online and offline. So you don't have to worry about an outage if you happen to be out of internet coverage.

Barking detection

It informs and records the place, time, and intensity of the dog barking along the route being recorded. When the dog is barking, a symbol of barking intensity appears next to the dog indicator in the application. More information can be displayed in the "dog detail" tab in the Dogtrace GPS app.

Tracing

It enables to record routes of all paired and displayed transmitters (collars) and receivers (handheld devices) on the map. Once the recording starts, routes will be drawn on the map. The route line will be thicker at the point of barking. Routes may be saved and played back.

Geo fence

In the Dogtrace GPS app, you can easily mark any space on the map. If your dog leaves the area you have marked, you will be notified by an app notification. These are so-called virtual fences (zones) and you can mark several of them.

Measurement

You can also use the Dogtrace GPS app to measure distance and area on the map. Area perimeter.

Basic specification of the DOG GPS X30

The professional tracking device from the DOG GPS X30 series offers 4 different models of GPS collars, divided according to the main functions and features. All 4 models are used to locate dogs at a distance of up to 20 km and allow you to locate 13 devices at the same time. The dog tracking device consists of a transmitter that is placed on the dog's collar and a receiver (handheld device) on which the handler can see the distance and direction to the location of dogs, other handlers, or waypoints. The device has practical and intuitive controls. 

RF technology, LoRa and GLONASS

The transmitter obtains its position from GPS satellites and uses a radio frequency (RF) signal to transmit the position information to the handler´s receiver. To ensure the highest possible range, we use the latest low-power LoRa™ (Long Range) radio signal modulation technology. GLONASS is a global satellite navigation system designed for fast navigation with an unlimited number of users.

Friendly mobile app

A modern dog tracking system that allows you to track and trace dogs on a map via an app for smartphones and tablets. The Dogtrace GPS app is free to download on Google Play for Android devices or on the App Store for iOS devices.

BEEPER function

Is the dog moving or standing? A function that is mainly used by hunters. The setting is determined by the type of hunting - bird hunting or wild boar hunting. BEEPER function can be set for up to 4 dogs at the same time.


FENCE function

Alerts you when the dog crosses the borders of the circular area you have defined. The border is adjustable within a radius of 30 m - 2 km from the receiver (handheld device). The circular fence can be activated for multiple dogs, the settings are saved for each dog separately.

CAR MODE

CAR MODE

The bodywork and electronics in the car can affect the function of the digital compass in the receiver - the direction to the tracked dog may not be displayed correctly. When CAR mode is activated, the direction to the dog is not determined by the digital compass, but by the change in position of the GPS receiver.


WAYPOINT

The WAYPOINT function allows you to save the GPS coordinates of the location where the receiver (handheld device) is currently located. You can later return to the saved point using navigation.
