Hello, we have had the Dogtrace electronic training collar d-control 400 for 8 years. We are completely satisfied with it as it is a great help in training the dog. The collar can withstand everything, water, mud, bumps. The transmitter has even been run over by a car and still works.
The photo is of Bowie, a four years old Louisiana Leopard Dog that we are taking out to check the range as it is May - cub season. The dog is not allowed to run anywhere near the game. Thanks to the training collar, the dog can be at large and yet completely under control. If other visitors to the forest had Dogtrace training collars on their dogs and knew how to use them, the wildlife would be much happier and so would we hunters.I forgot to mention the acoustic signal. With a buggy and a sleeping baby where you can't scream or beep, the beep is priceless. The dog is trained to come to me at two beeps.
I am using your collar on my fourth dog. They receive minimal stimulation impulse, more of an acoustic signal, but the dog's control is 100% in any situation. Also, it's great that you can purchase individual parts.
